Went through of some of my books I hadn`t looked at in 15-20 years. Sometimes I actually buy books I have becuse I forget I have a copy already. However this one here I haven`t seen for sale ever. I found here in Denmark sometime right after I was married in 1999.

There are drawn plates in this book of ammunition used by the US Army from 1860-1873.
Here the .45-70 is the new thing..

I’ve been caught several times buying the same book with a different cover. Those drawings are really neat.

Thanks Tomahawk.

I too like the drawings of these old gunbooks.

I'll post some more of the drawings.

I agree Tomahawk,I've done that more times than I can remember. When you have so many books over the years you forget what you already have, thus in my case buying more than I need. The drawings are great Jens, thanks for posting.

Wonderful stuff Jens! Thanks for sharing. Do you mind if I copy the page on the Spencer cartridge and post it on a Spencer shooters' forum? There is a handful of nuts out there who still like to put the old seven-shooters through their paces.

Only if you have time, Jens! Thanks again.
