Are any of his books still in print? If not is there any way I could get any used ones? I tried a search on e-bay and came up empty. Thanks in advance.

I don't believe any of Finn's books are still in print. Pity, they are all great. I'm lucky to have them. IIRC - sorry not where I can check - they were all printed by the NRA. His wife, Beritt (sp?) is writing for Rifle magazine's annual hunting publication now. Try www.abe.com

Dan, if you have no luck in the States, you might like to try Coch y Bonddu books (don't worry the name is Welsh!) in the UK. They specialise in new and used fieldsports books from around the world and offer excellent serive and are about average price wise for the UK. They ship to the US at cost not the super inflated prices of some. They have a web site ( http://www.anglebooks.com ) although its not always up todate. The best bet is to drop them a mail with your requirments and they will tell what they currently have in stock. My only connection with this company is as a very satifised repeat customer! I was going through some older American Rifleman I have here and started reading his articles again and that's what got me started looking for his books. I did, right after I posted my question, look for Aagaards Africa on Barnes and Noble. I found three copies but they were priced from something like $150.00 to $325.00. I don't remember exactly right now but I thought I don't have to read it that bad. The reason given for the high price on the most expensive one was it had a typed letter signed by Finn Aagaard himself. Thank you for your ideas, I'll go try them out right now. Dan Uplinger
