I am helping liquidate a friend's estate. There are the first 29 books of the 36 in the limited edition. All these are just like brand new and don't even look to have even been opened. They are each numbered 493 of 1500.

What is the best method to sell these books? As an incomplete set or one at time? Also, I wonder what price level I should try to accomplish. I see complete sets in like condition being priced from $1000 to $1500 but those are asking prices.
Thanks for any help,
Phil

I am not familiar with "Wolfe Books"However if there is any collectible value then complete sets are much more valuable that an individual piece.Case in point;I have an original 17 volume set of Richard Burton's "Arabian Knights".This a 1880 publication of which there were only 1000 -printed.Check on line + see if you see ANY complete 1 volume seta of his treatise. You won't find any.As to potential buyers as well, once again search the web for book sellers. We do enjoy our reads but we are small potato's as tom REAL buyers.

I found this on the internet, FWIW. "The book of the Springfield : a textbook covering all the various military and sporting rifles chambered for the caliber .30 model 1906 cartridge ; their metallic and telescopic sights and the ammunitions suited to them / by Edward C. Crossman."

Wolfe Publihing Co. Inc.
I just came across one published by Wolfe titled Guns, Loads & Hunting Tips by Author Bob Hagel. Circa 1986. Very nice condition and something that will be a nice addition to my library.
