Looking for opinion on this book, worth while purchase or just another how to book with a few frills?

Nope!

I have read it. It is good, not great. Mostly it is a good reminder of proper shooting practices and techniques. I think if you have had basic instruction, and spend time on the range shooting various positions and distances, you will get the same "good" out of the book.

I do not regret buying it and would suggest you buy it used somewhere.
