Veteran adventurer Peter hathaway Capstick explores the wide world of maneaters - creatures that regard homo sapien as just another meal ticket. From the nungles of Asia and South America, to the African bush, and to our own supposedly civilized America, the types and varieties of maneaters are surprisingly numerous and incredibly widespread. And teh dangers from them is very real even today.

I've enjoyed every Peter Hathaway Capstick book I've read. While I don't re-read many, I've read a couple of his, including this one, 2-3 times.

I found the later chapters about Wolves and Killer Whales and such to be just as interesting as the chapters on the big cats!
