I have never read any of the books by Jim Corbet on hunting in India are they worth obtaining? Are there better authors?

His collection is absolutely one of the best out there. You will enjoy every word in his books. I suggest you buy the Corbett collection from Safari Press. It is fantastic...

Yes, yes, yes... Corbett's books are well worth reading in my opinion. You will definitely not be disappointed.

I have to say, I do enjoy buying the older books to read. Not because I'm a collector, as I'm not, but just because they seem to have a whole history of their own.

Plus you can sometimes pick them up for pennies Wink

If you got around to reading some Jim Corbett books and enjoyed them try Kenneth Anderson,9 Maneaters and one rogue,The Kenneth Anderson Omnibus,1&2,Tigers of the Raj by Colonel Richard Burton,Field Sports in India,Major General J.G.Elliot.and The Soddit by A.R.R.R Roberts.[not a real huntin,shootin,book]
