| One must trust their own judgement on character or anything else.I personally do not like his writing, but that's just me;he is a great writer, just not mine.I suppose that I am still in an era of Elmer,Jack,Charlie,Bill,+ all the other hero's of the use of handguns/+ longarms as well.

| Boddington's book, Safari Rifles, I thought was very good and filled a useful niche. Then there was Safari Rifles II, The Accurate Rifle and Rifleman, etc. To me, the others are little more than rearrangements of the deck chairs and have little to add to conversation above and beyond Safari Rifles.
