I have read his 1st book years ago, "A Rifleman Went To War." + have his 2nd, "The Emma Gees".
I have read the former but not the latter. Another treat while we're shut down indoors (I must confess at 108 degrees, I'm happy being in.) These are his exploits as a Marine rifleman in the Great War. The 2nd deals with machine-gun units.
