Throughout ONE LONG SAFARI, Peter Hay relates the hunts which particularly stuck in his memory. Mainly those from more remote parts of Africa. Back when he started working, these vast areas he called "home" were still blanks on the map to the rest of us.

He enjoyed all types of hunting in the different African terrains. But his two favourites, as you will see, were tracking teh stock and man-eating bush lion in Somaliland and Ethiopia and elephant hunting in Uganda. Both Peter and Lorna are fortunate to have spent so much time in the game rich areas of Africa and to have lived the prime of their lives on ONE LONG SAFARI.
