I just finished a really interesting book (picked up at the libraries used book store) about the Cold War and the U.S.s aerial reconnaissance efforts: 'Shadow Flights' by Curtis Peebles. It starts with our recon efforts at the end of WW2 and ends with the fall of the Evil Empire. Lots of info on Groom lake, the development of the U2 and other spy planes, and the Roswell NM UFO sightings. All in all a very fascinating book.
