I'm reading The Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes. I'm 12% into it and it's a real good read so-far,,more so than other books on the same subject.

My ex partner in my business;he died a few years ago,had an uncle who worked on the Manhattan Project.He was given a little book entitled "Top Secret". Dave inherited it from his uncle + when he passed I gave it to his son with stern admonitions not to sell this for love nor money. I hope he still has it.

The book is huge,,it's on my kindle so it wasn't apparent. There is so much more WW2 history in the book than just the bomb,,I just read on my barge but it's a very good read so-far!
