Not many men are left who remember the days of the old or early professional hunter, and fewer still who practiced the art. The elephant hunter of the past is certainly an almost vanished race. These were the men who carried on undeterred in spire of all obstacles (and there were many) placed before them. These were men who went where none hd gone before, to open up new big game hungting territories.
