"The life of Federick Courtenay Selous, D.S.O." by J.G. Millais would probably be the best place to start. Millais knew him personally and was completely familiar with all of Selous' works. All skill is in vain when a demon pisses on your gunpowder. | |||

"A Hunters Wanderings In Africa".Reprinted by Wolfe Publishing in 1986;ISBN#0935632-37-9.There was a biography put out a few years back by 'Safari Press'(I don't recall the exact title),but I would not recommend it.Rather dry.I gave it away,+ I don't usually do that. Never mistake motion for action. | |||
