In no particular order:
-- Magnum Magazine
-- African Hunter
-- African Sporting Gazette
-- African Outfitter

There also is Hatari Times, although I've not heard of it for a while.

I have seen safari-based magazines that were pubished in Argentina, Spain, Germany, and France, but I assume you're interested only in those in English.

Thanks for the list! Any better than the others. I'm more interested in the hunting aspect than technical articles on scopes, etc. I appreciate the response.

Hmm. These are a bit harder to get "subscribed to" than i had anticipated. I've got some emails out and waiting to hear back. Magnum magazine was difficult and African Hunter was just an email address with no real web page.

Try eEditor.african-hunter.com to reach Alan Bunn, the webmaster. I couldn't find African Hunter's website either. It's a good magazine and well worth the money. Don Heath who is on this site from time to time is its editor, and Saeed (the owner of the AR site) is a big shareholder. I'm listed on the masthead as the USA publishing consulltant

African Hunter, African Sporting Gazette, and African Outfitter are what you want. Magnum is the South African equivalent of our "Guns and Ammo" and understandably has been heavy on personal defense products for the past few years. It does have hunting articles, though.

For Magnum Magazine and African Sporting Gazette, you can subscribe through Amazon.com if you do not want to wait for the email replies.

I love Hatari.

www.hataritimes.com maybe it's www.hataritimes.de

They live in Belgium, Harold Wolf is a Ferlach trained gun maker.

Kind of like saying you went to Wyoming Tech and then worked for Jessie James or the Tuttles building bikes.
