This man was a contemporary of TRS, and while you rarely hear much about Lilly, the book is interesting reading. I find it very hard to imagine many like him have ever lived, let alone make the choice to purposly live the life depicted in the book. I enjoyed it, hope you do to. This is one of the very few published accounts of Lilly. The knife makers may have heard of him, as his actions many times involved his self-made knives and a large, mad, bear, and riding the bear sans saddle.
