Cummins: I have had the Baikal in a cowboy-action model, and although stiff at first, it was a darned reliable shotgun. These guns don't get style points, but for the dollar I would expect one to be durable and very serviceable. In fact, I am looking at a 12-gauge SS myself. At about 7 pounds, it's not that heavy, and I figure I can refinish and possibly reshape the butt stock a bit if I want a winter project.
