I was wondering if anyone out there has one and could tell me how much more heavy they are than the standard barrels? Thanks to anyone that can help.

Hi Scott, I don't have the heavy barrel, but I can tell you that the 870 Hastings economy rifled barrel with cantilever rail is a tack driver with Federal 3 inch sabots (copper solid I think) I have an Aimpoint on it and shot my buck last year at 80 yards and the bullet didn't drop but maybe 1/2 inch or so. Good shooting. Joe
