Thinking about buying an MEC 9000 "grabber" for reloading my skeet rounds. I was wondering if it is possible/practical to change the gauge of the reloader. I maily shoot 12 gauge, but I shot a 28 the othwr day and liked it and may one day add one to my arsenal. Thanks

"The 9000G and 9000H are available in 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge and .410 bore. Die sets are not available." http://www.mecreloaders.com/productline/9000.asp IOW, no, you can't. Wouldn't be practicle if you could. HTH, Dutch.

you'd spend all day doing it to load for an hour.I picked up my grabber out of a shotgun news classified ad for $170.Bolted it to the bench and started loading,,no problems. www.precisionreloading.com has a lot of shotgun loading stuff, more than you usually see from supply houses

I use 600's--one for 20 and one for 12---Its a real pain to change from one set of dies to another. chuck
