There is going to be a local auction Labor Day weekend that advertises an A5 Belgium (New in org packing box). What do you think it is worth?

What is it worth, or what will it bring?

The old humpback is a wonderful bird gun, and the Belgians are probably the finest of the lot of A-5's. So, in my opinion, it is of great worth.

As to what it will bring, you don't mention its gauge or configuration, which are significant factors in how well it will sell. Standard, Light, Target, vent, solid rib, plain, Magnum? Small gauges usually bring more than twelves. Upland chokes usually bring more than tight chokes. Skeet choke might bring even more.

Whoops, just noticed you have a photo with your post. In the photo the gun looks like a 50's gun with two plain barrels (although I can't really see it that well). If you can find out which of the above specs apply to it, someone can give you a pretty accurate estimate of what it will bring.

Oops I do tend to overlook things. 12gauge with 2 3/4" chamber. No other details given in auction bill.

Looking for worth value. I have no idea what it will bring at auction. There are too many variables in the equation that I do not know.
