Any recommendations for a Red dot sight for a 500 Mosseberg or will the recoil kill them? Sooting 3" and 2 3/4" slugs and Buckshot loads.

I have the Bushnell Trophy RD on my Mberg 835.Shoots great and so far no problems.I got it on the advice of a friend who has had one on his 500 for years.Only drawback that I can see is they're not good at gathering light but I have it on the rifled slug barrel for deer.In NY with sunrise to sunset big game hours that's not an issue.If you can hunt earlier or later it might not be the best choice.
