I am strongly considering buying one of these in 12 SxS, made in 1989. I understand that they are not the absolute best but would like any information anyone might have on them. The only reason I'm really thinking about this is because the gun is engraved by one of my favorite world class engravers and the engraving alone would cost several times the price of the gun if done today. OTOH, I don't want to buy a dog of a gun for the engraving alone and be stuck with it forever because of it's reputation, deserved or not. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

I had one in 12 ga, a boxlock with ejectors. It was a good gun for the money. I believe they made everything from very basic to very expensive. They are not well known so resale might be hard, esp. for a higher grade gun. C.G.B.
