I believe the forearms are the same. The camo stocks are available from Remington at competitive prices. I got an extra buttstock for my 3.5" 870 so I could have one cut down for a cold weather length of pull.

I had a forearm and buttstock changed and the 870 would not eject the fired hull, had to take it back and have it adjusted. This was on a 3 1/2" gun. I do believe the stocks are interchangable.

I own both the 3" Mag and 3 1/2", to my knowledge the only difference is the opening of the ejection port, the location of the ejector and the cosmetic sleeve assembley on the bolt. I have used other 3" barrels on the supermag without problem. Great gun for the money, the only problem I have is I have a tendency to short stroke the 3 1/2" since I have become acclaimated to the travel of the 3" slide action.
