Here in DK we’re onlly allowed to use steel shot on clay pigeons, I just ordered a new gun (Blaser F3 with Briley Spectrum chokes) for clay’s and for hunting
Their choke chart (upper chart), show that ½ choke is max for steel
My current gun (Browning XTR) has fixed chokes with 3/4 and 1/1 and I've had no problems with steel shot since 2003, but I guess the Spectrum chokes has a longer taper compared to the fixed chokes in my XTR and the shot in general meet a lighter force trough a Spectrum choke of same restriction?
What is the max choke (Briley Spectrum chokes) you have used for steel with no problems?

Thanks Bjarne
