Hi Guys Does anybody out there own a pre-WWII English shotgun with the name JV Needham? I happen to own one, a very nice 12-bore boxlock ejector made in 1935, but would be interested in pics/info on any other Needham guns. By the way, Joseph Needham was the first guy to invent a practical ejector mechanism in England which was patented way back in 1873. WW Greener bought his business shortly thereafter and Needham's patent formed the basis for Greener's own "Unique" ejectors. Greener continued to build guns under the Needham name right up to 1941, and according to the records a fair quantity was made, but I have only been able to locate two others. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks! | ||
