A retired LE friend told me one of his LE friends used to load 12g shells with rice instead of lead & gave him a few,at 16 yards it busted clay targets in trap & skeet but one had to get on the target rapidly.He said he stopped by a local feed store & bought a bag of hard red wheat that he's going to load in his 12g shells & see how it performs.
