Are they worth it? I have a Side by Side that I would like to use for a Boar gun. Shots will be 50yds and under. Will it be worth it to spend the money on rifled choke tubes? Are they definitely more accurate? I need to get cylinder bore chokes for it if not, but if I'm already gonna have to spend money on it, I will get the rifled ones if they are good.

Try the rifled slugs first, I suggest starting with the Brenneke type. Also you don't need a cylinder bore choke for these, try I/C and modified first, if they don't work go to cylinder. You may find that your gun shoots just fine with these slugs inside of 50 yards and they are much cheaper than sabots.

Thanks! I just got some Federal TruBall slugs and I'm going to give those a chance first. I have all the choke tubes I will need to be able to test them out too.
