Has anyone seen/touched/shot the Mossberg International O/U shotguns? I talked to the wholesaler and he said he thought they were being imported from Turkey. I was wondering about the quality. Never rode a bull, but have shot some. NRA life member NRA LEO firearms instructor (retired) NRA Golden Eagles member

Purchased a 20 guage in Jan of 2006, have shot it about 500 rounds at the local sporting clays club. Mine came with 5 screw-in chokes, selective trigger, no ejectors. My impressions are a well made, well fitted gun suitable for field work, I like the fact the ejectors don't kick the empties out into the weeds, but lift the fired hulls about 1/3 of the way out for easy removal. The gun shoots well and has a good recovery for the second shot even thought not ported. This may be a different story with the 3 inch mag loads. My only complaint was the triggers, the selector worked well, however the safty was rough and the trigger pull rough and at times heavy. I purchased the gun for 469 plus tax for a final total on the order of 510 bucks. I would reccomend the gun for a beginning shooter or someone looking for a great, decent priced field gun. For the target or high volume shooter who wants an O/U move on up to a higher level shotgun.
