I am looking for a little help figuring out what kind or shotgun this is and around when it was built.

Centaure was a Belgian importer (Colt dealer at a time) but did not manufacture. Your gun is a sound, albeit rather crudely made, Spanish import (it carries the Santiago /SP basic proofmark in addition to the Belgian Proofhouse marks)sold under the Centaure brand. It's typical of what we locally call a "game keeper's gun".
