I just had a wonderful experience dealing with Briley Manufacturing in Houston, TX. I sent them a ported Skeet barrel from my Beretta AL390 for choke tube installation. The whole operation took 5 weeks, the return shipping packing job was unbelievable, they were pleasent and intelligent on the phone, and the workmanship was excellent. I got the barrel modified for the choke tubes, 3 tubes (I asked for Skeet, Light Modified & Improved Modified), a case for the choke tubes and a wrench, all for $149 plus $16.75 shipping & insurance. I only wish I knew about them before I bought a choke tube barrel for my Remington 1100! Regards, George

Glad to hear that an old and always well thought of outfit still deserves its reputation! (Seems the older I get, the more great names when I was younger, getting to be not so good -so your post was pleasant to read)

I live about 5 miles from Briley. Over the last several years they have done work on 2 of my shotguns and 1 Colt 1911. On every occasion they were courteous and the work was done quickly and well. On one occasion they fitted a new barrel link on the .45 while I waited. I always recommend them due to these experiences and every time I do that on this forum I get hooted down. I don't understand why. I've never used them for rifles . Several acquaintances have and were satisfied by the work done. I used some of their chokes and talk to them every year at the Grand American, I think they are a great company. "aim small, miss small" Benjamin Martin
