Any one tried the browning gauge reducers called little skeeters. They are a sleeve that is only as long as an expanded 12 ga shell. I got a set for x mas 12/20s and haven't got a chance to try them yet. Do they pattern the same as the original ga shells in the gun? Any tips or trocks on using them? Thanks.

I have several sets. For experimenting or light hunting use they are fine. They will eject like a spent shell, if you have ejectors. A lot of the time, you may have to remove the insert and use a pencil or dowel rod to poke out the fired shell. But for the price, they are fine in my opinion.

As far as patterning, they have patterned just fine in my guns. I shoot mostly skeet1 and ic, so I have not checked out mod and full.
