My grandfather gave me an Ithaca side by side 16 guage, I think it was bought by his brother in ~1934 or so and his brother died in WW2. It has a dog at point engraved on the reciever. I dont really know much about it, and have only shot it a few times, but I just bought some more shells for it last week (16s are hard to find around here so I have to buy them when I get the chance). I do know its killed many many rabbits in its day though.



I meant to take it hunting this fall but picked up my 20 gauge side by side hardware store gun instead.
