I have been helping a hounds-man with wild hog/boar removal from private ranching in my off time [lol].

I have been carrying and old sawed off to 20 inch H&R from the 80s 12 gauge with DDpleks Hexolit 32 Magnum 495 grain slugs.



My question is...

1).What one of the new slug guns from H&R 1871 has the action that can have replacement RIFLE barrels added to it?

2).Is this considered a rifle or a shotgun? I want the shortest barrel possible for the manzanita and white-thorn scrub I am shooting the wounded animals in.
