This past summer I bought a new Franchi 20 ga. I wasn't really in te market, but I saw it in the local Gander Mtn and when I picked it up it was instant love. The lightness was a refresshing change from the pump guns I usually carry . My only real concern is the durability of the light weight aluminum reciever? Will it stand up to a diet of heavy 2 3/4" with some 3" mags mixed in? or should I stick to lighter loads?

I use it primarily for groouse and pheasants where 1 oz of shot is pleanty but I do some duck hunting once in a while to. The heavy loads would be nice for this.
