We have taken a booth at this event, the premier get-together for the vintage double gun fraternity. Shipping a bunch of guns from Oregon is not really practical, so we are going to try something different. We will be taking consignments for the duration of the show. That saves you the hassle of hauling your gun around all weekend, as well as the indignity of dealer offers. Our fee is 10% of the first $1000, 5% of anything over that. Legalities: we are an FFL holder so we can sell your gun to another licencee at the show, or via another licencee at the show to a resident of NY and some adjoining states. All other sales must be consummated by mail via a licencee in the purchaser's state. Exception for antiques (pre 1898), these can be traded without restriction. If you gun does not sell, we will be happy to continue to sell the gun via our website(s) for our standard 5% commission. We will have a camera at the show to take the necessary pictures. So if this works for you, look for our booth "Double Gun HQ" when you get there! Or if you can't attend, you can ship the gun to us at Orvis, email me for details.
