. If you were going to have a two-day class to introduce non-shooters to the game of American Trap and you were going to supply the guns... These non-shooters would be from various social, educational, and cultural backgrounds and varying interest levels. They would be part of an off-site corporate function with international attendees. Their spouses and teenage children might also participate. While the effort is for everyone to have a good time and leave with a favorable impression of guns, one would not really expect many of the attendees to take up Trap as a routine hobby. What gun would you use ? Browning BT-99 single-shot with varying LOP and adjustable-combs ? Remington 870 pump action ? Other recommendations ? Think all the guns should be identical as to operation. . | ||

I do this very thing.... Stick with the 870 and similar.. Beginning shooters don't need the $1000 gun to start.. Find out who's interested with the 870 and cultivate from there. Just my $0.02.
