Anyone here shoot a Beretta Silver Hawk? Some of the ones I've seen have great looking wood for the price. Pete

I have had one for over a year. I shoot a little skeet and trap with it. It has the straight stock and slaps my face something awful. I changed out the red traditional recoil pad for a gel-tech one. Hope that changes the pitch enough so I do not have to have it professionally fitted. I should have it fitted. The straight stock is good for bird hunting but for skeet or trap, a pistol grip stock is better. The gun is light, attactively priced and very nice looking, I prefer the fit of the Winchester mod 23, the SKB or the Browning BSS. All of which I was able to try after I bought the Beretta. If you get one, have it fitted and I think you will be happy with it.
