Does any company make a nice lefty SxS in left handed? Would like to stay at $3K or less?
Will consider an O/U if no SxS's are being made.

Browning makes (or has made) a left hand Citori O/U. The wife has a 525 Citori Sporting Clays gun. The stock (cast, palm swell) is left hand - however the action and its opening lever is the same as the right hand guns

Thanks, but after shouldering a right hand Citori 725 I decided to get one. Fits perfect and reviews are great. No need to even go with the left handed modelSmiler

Beretta has a left handed 682/dt10/dt11. The beretta gallery in NYC - Ed Anderson the gunsmith can set you up with one.

You could buy a Beretta silver pigeon, for about $1900, and have Coles Gunsmithing install a left hand stock set on it. I believe you can get that done for $3 grand, if you stick with standard wood. But you could spend $3500 total or so and get some great wood. Look at Coles web site.
I have bought guns from them and had them install the wood before they shipped.
Great people and service.

725 FITS. Might look at the Silver Pigeon if the store has one.
But FIT is everything with any double and the 725 lines up perfectly with the eyes closed when I shoulder it.

Sent you a couple PMs. Guns International also has a section for LH shotguns, but there's not much in there right now.

Plenty of 725's on Gunbrokers, just waiting for the right deal to come along.

You might pickup a Browning BSS. Long discontinued but a tank of a SXS. I believe all had single triggers and no cast in the stock so I would assume ambidextrous.

I've owned a couple of the Browning BSS guns. Much to like about them, but whether a good idea depends on the intended use. I found the 12 ga not suitable for bird hunting. Too heavy and cumbersome. It's a better duck gun, for over decoys or pass shooting depending on the chokes. Mine had fixed chokes. They have also gotten VERY pricey.

I also have a 12 ga Citori hunter model with screw in chokes. It's an excellent duck gun and is also useful for dove shooting. I have used it too for pheasants, but not the handiest for lugging from dawn to dusk in Kansas wheat fields.

Of these type guns, all are suitable for either left or right hand use.

So is another, which is very similar to the Brownings but can be acquired much cheaper.

It's the SKB built Ithaca doubles. I used to have one in O/U and it was a beauty that I killed a LOT of ALL kinds of game with. They also made nice SxS guns. I'd shop around and give them a look.

I believe the Iside from FAIR is ambidextrous, pretty new though, may not be easy to find to get a look at.

If you buy a new Beretta Silver Pigeon, you can send it back to Beretta and they will install a left hand stock for about $200. They swap out the right hand stock.
