Interesting topic on the 28 Guage and shot loads.

Does anyone shoot slugs through their 28 Guage? I've only found the Brenneke's, and they group excellent, <2" at 50 yards. However extraction is downright difficult out of a Blaser R93.

Does anyone load their own 28 Guage slugs? If so, and if you'd be so kind, I'd like to know what equipment and components you used, and if they were worth the effort.

For a slug, I've found the Round Balls/Wads at Ballistic Products, or you'd have to Mold Lee REAL Muzzle 54 caliber slugs or some equivalent.

-------- There are those who only reload so they can shoot, and then there are those who only shoot so they can reload. I belong to the first group. Dom ---------

I have never been fond of slugs for anything, they do not kill big game very well, actually I would prefer buckshot but neither in a 28 ga. only in a 12 ga or larger, and Im not fond of that..I always prefer a rifle..
