I hope someone can help. I want to scope my SBEII for turkey hunting. I bought the appropriate weaver style base, went to the basement, got out my barrel and am now stumped. There are screws in the 4 holes, but they seem to be painted over in camo. I scraped at one to see if it just had a plastic plug in it(on top of screw head, but it seems like the screw head is just a flat with no torx or even flathead top?

That is very strange?! Call Benelli customer service....Is it possible the groove is filled in with camo material...They had to be put in there with a screwdriver...IF they are plastic(mine were metal) they will puch righ out with a small punch and a light tap....GL!
PS.DNZ makes a great one piece lightweight mount for the Benelli in 1" and 30MM and also in Camo!)
