My son is having a little trouble with his super black eagle. The gun is shooting high. At forty yards he has to hold at the bottom of a 30" circle so the pattern will hit in the middle of the circle. Any of you Benelli shooters have this problem? I'm going out this weekend to double check all this. He has a Beretta O/U that shoots POI and shoots it well. He's having trouble connecting with the Benelli..?? The Benelli comes with shims for the stock but he says he's looking right down the rib... Sendero300>>>===TerryP

When I aim my M1 feild like a rifle it patterns about a foot low. When I throw it to my shoulder and snap the shot off like I would bird hunting it hits right on. The way I hit flying things with it I have no worrys they just seem to fall from the sky. It could very well be that he is looking high on the rib when he is shooting at a pattern board. How well does hit hit flying things. I know that if I would use mine for turkeys were I would be aiming I would have to make some ajustments.

He is aiming right down the rib (according to him) ..when shooting a pattern. He's even tried to shim the stock with the supplied shims. It's affecting his wing shooting somewhat...to the degree that he needs to do something about it. I'm going to go along with him next time he patterns it. Not sure what's going on....
