I have an 870 SP slug gun that came with the cantilever rifled barrel. It has a 3-9 Simmons rifle scope on top of it.This rig shoots very well out to 150 yards using the
2 3/4in. Federal premium's with the Barnes Expander sabot slugs.It also costs about $2.00 every time you pull the trigger. Thats the price you pay for superior accuracy and performance with a slug shooting shotgun.You could also use a muzzleloader if you have one.
