Need some help. I have been offered a 20 ga. sxs, hammerless ejector, sidelock for what seems a decent price. It is supposed to be made by "Sail & Co".

Where could I get more info on the maker?

I guess I would start looking for proof marks on the barrel flats if it has them then we know most likely was made some place else then the US.

What chambers length well also help when it was made

If it doesn't have them then start looking for pictures of the same style action ect of US made guns.

A lot of manufactures made and put private labels on their guns.
