I just got it ordered. After months of looking, I got a lead on a Ultra Slug Hunter Thumbhole in 20ga. I have always hated shotguns, but with rifles not allowed in OH and my inlaws not letting me hunt with them with a bow, I was kinda forced. So I heard all about the "rifle" like accuracy out of these and had to have one. Now for the dressing of it.
I have decided to treat it like a rifle and it gets the standard sling, bipod, scope. I am deciding between a red dot or 2.5-10 on the scope. Any input there? I have spare bipods and slings. If it looks to bad or I catch too much flak for the bipod I can always take it off.
But I can't reload for this- Yet. I figure to try the same as I do with rimfires and just get a box of this and that and go try them out, but that can get expensive real quick. So I figure to ask here and take the most heavily recommended ones out to the range. Fire away with ideas.

try several brands of saboted slugs in both 2 3/4 and 3 inch. I shoot a remington 11-87 in 12 ga. with the cantilever rifled barrel and a 3x9x40 scope on it. I also have a Remington SP-10 with a 20 inch rifle sighted smooth bore.
the 12ga. shoots 1 1/2 inch groups with the discontinued Remington 1 3/8 copper soilds in 3 inch cases and the only slug load for the 10ga. is the federal 1 7/8 oz. It shoots about 2 inches at 75 yards.
Get some 20ga buckhammers, some lightfields and some federals with the Barnes sabot and fire away.
