I posted in the classifieds and thought I'd try here too. I'm looking for an older, plain U/O on a 300 series action (double lug and Kirsten crossbolt) to butcher into a double rifle. I hate to carve up one of the nice old guild guns and hoped someone might have a more appropriate candidate that can be salvaged. Would prefer 20-28 ga but 16 will work. 12 is a bit heavy for the caliber I'm going to do. Thanks.

BTT. A little more research suggests an SKB O/U in 20-28 will work. Ithaca also sold that model SKB under their own brand as the Model 600.
