Well, I was gobsmacked by one of these svelte little Browning/Pedersen sweeties at the local gun shop today, so now I have a 20 in the house again. I am just helpless in the face of fine old American pump guns. Browning patented this design in 1915, Remington built it from 1921 to 1933, and Ithaca made it famous as the Model 37. Browning resurrected it as the BPS. Cannot wait to put it to good use.

They are a sweet little shotgun. To bad they didn't make more of them.

Duane, I wasn't even aware of this model until a friend showed me his a year ago. Then I spotted one in a pawn shop, but they wanted too much for it. So when I found this one in good shape at a reasonable price, I was a goner.
