I stopped by my local gun shop today and I noticed he had old pump shotgun, I looked at it and it was in excellent condition all the way around, so I bought it. It's a sears Ranger 102.25 and it cross references to a stevens 520A. It still had the original tags on it 28" barrel and mod I put a box of shells through it today and it handle and shot real well. Someone told me it was designed by John M Browning? Is any of you fimilar with this gun?

I have the same exact gun sitting here, except it's in 16 gauge. At least I hope it's the same, because I ordered a stock for it and it's for a 12 gauge with a 2" tang. This one belongs to a friend of mine who says it belonged to his grandfather. It's pretty rough, light pitting and also has a poly choke setup on it. Looks like it will clean up and should look much better with the new stock setup. Here's to hoping that it works as well as yours does. Greg
