i have just purchased a 1187 super magnum because the last one been a trap gun wasn't chambered for 3".the gun shoots and cycles well even with lite loads.i did notice when it arrived and i pulled it apart that it didn't have a gas cyclinder collar.it does say on a piece of paper that came with the gun that this collar is not required for the super magnum.just wondering if anyone knows why this is so
