Hey,
Has anyone ever seen a slug barrel for sale for an Auto-5 in 16 gauge? I've seen them for the 20, and 12. One guy had a "100%" 16 gauge barrel in the box for 550.00, but it would'nt look right on my 70% sweet 16. Just wondering what might be out there.

I don't believe Browning ever manufactured a 16ga slug gun.
What choke does your 16 have?
If it's modified or cyl, there's a good chance it will shoot forster type slugs well enough for a 50 yard or so shot.
Have you tried it with slugs? You might be surprised.
Never heard of any aftermarket slug barrel makers producing a 16ga slug barrel for an Auto5, but I haven't been looking .
Try Hastings etc.

Good luck

Yes, browning did make slug barrels for their auto-5's, to include the 16 gauge. Finding one is another story.
Thanks,

You learn something new everyday.
Read your latest post and got to looking thru some of my books, sure enough, FN made them from 1963-1976.
Never heard of such a thing.
Good luck in your search.
