OK. Are the two guns radically different? I don't know. Can a Browning 2000 barrel be used in a Auto 5 receiver? Thanks all!

The two guns a completely different designs, one (the 2000) being gas operated, the other being recoil operated.

Gentlemen thank you both for your input. I now know that what I had hoped might be isn't to be.

Not the answer I had hoped but at least an answer. Have an A5 and could have got a buckslayer B2000 barrel cheap.
