LGS took in a Ugartechea model 221 (12G) with double triggers and English stock.Has some nice case coloring. I've been doing some searching but not much info on the 221 model. This was imported by Excell.Anyone know the history on the 221?

They were imported by Excell Arms back in the 1980's. They can be had for very good prices if one looks around. I own one in 12. It handles and shoots well. Some have chopper lump barrels so i'm told. Mine has dovetail lumps. The chokes were mod/full so I had them opened for upland bird hunting. It patterns very well. A great gun for the price.

The only downside is that being from a "time past" they do tend to be a bit short in the stock if you are over 5' 10".
